Writing Contest: Spring Haikus Winners
Hey Woozens,
You may remember that we asked you to get ultra creative and bring on the spring.....through poetry! We asked you to write your own haikus related to the season of blooming....SPRING! AS usual, we got tons of entries, so you know this was not an easy decision!
Check out our faves below.
Dandelions blow
Fluttering in the wind
Like little dancers
A whiff of fresh air
Dainty buds are peeking through
Swaying cheek to cheek
Flowers bloom in grace
A sweet fragrance is spreading
Earth's beauty's showing
He glances at her
She's blooming like the flowers
He melts like the snow
Through eternal dawn
Wailing past the foggy realms
The sakura blooms
Pink, purple, yellow
The petals scatter across
An endless meadow
Flowers scent the air
Oh, to be a canary
Who would stop me sing
Hummingbirds nectar
Scented arbours tangle sunlight
Spring glows with blossoms
Oh the sun, the breeze,
The daffodils with the bees,
What a spring it is.
The flowers bloom
My eyes, they sparkle with glee
Oh gloom far from me
Energetic Skies
The Floral Aroma Lands
Flourishing Colors
Flowers grow and bloom
Leaves fall right into its place
Morning sunshine glints
A calming rain falls
The little children emerge
Splashing in puddles
Nature awakens
As chirping sounds fill the air
The birds have returned
A peaceful tall tree
Surrounded by singing birds
It's the sound of peace
Congrats, Woozens! The winners above will receive a sweet Woozen prize!
