Woozworld Update 16.9
What's New in Update 16.9!
Hey Woozens!
We've got a fresh update ready for you with a few handy improvements and fixes! In this release, we're focusing on some great new features for our Unitz designers and game builders with extra coloring options, better ways to manage and share your builds, and clearer controls.
Here is a look at what's new!
Improved Gradient Tool for Multi-Furniture Coloring
We're introducing two major upgrades to the Gradient Coloring Tool:
- The ability to create custom multi-color gradient palettes.
- The option to apply gradients vertically along the Z-axis for stacked furniture!
Before diving into what's new, here's a quick refresher on how to use the tool.
Quick Recap: How to Use the Multi-Coloration Tool
The Multi-Coloration tool saves tons of time when recoloring large selections of furniture all at once.
#1 Activate Selection Mode in your toolbar:

#2 In the side panel, select All Items so you can grab both floor tiles and standard furniture:
#3 Click and drag across your Unitz to select every item you want to recolor:
#4 Click the Recolor (color wheel) icon on the popup action menu:
#5 This opens the Multi-Coloring Tool in the top-left corner of your screen!
New Feature 1: Build Custom Color Gradients
Previously, applying a Linear or Radial gradient only adjusted the brightness of your active color choices (e.g., transitioning from light pink to dark pink).
Now, you can build your own custom color blends! Click the new Customize Colors + button at the bottom of the tool to open a side panel. From there, pick up to 5 custom colors to blend smoothly across your selection.
New Feature 2: Apply Gradients Along the Z-Axis
Want to color a tall tower of blocks? You can now stretch gradients vertically across stacked furniture using the Z-axis.
Linear Gradient: When using the Linear option, choose one of the two new vertical directional modes to blend colors from bottom to top or top to bottom.

Circular Gradient: When using the Circular option, check the new Apply to Z-Axis box to project the circular gradient through 3D space. Leaving this unchecked will apply the 2D circular gradient individually to each stacked layer.
Export & Import Blueprints
For those unfamilar with Blueprints, this feature allows you to take snapshots of your custom furniture layouts so you can easily replicate, copy, or reuse parts of your Unitz across different rooms!
We're excited to introduce an official Export and Import option for Blueprints! Because Blueprints are stored directly in your browser's local storage, this new feature lets you safely back up your designs, transfer them across devices, or share your favorite room setups directly with friends.
How to Export a Blueprint
- Open any saved Blueprint from your list to bring up its details panel.
- Click the Download button at the bottom of the panel to save your layout as a .wzw file:
Once downloaded, you can safely store the file on your computer, back it up to cloud storage, or send it directly to a friend!
How to Import a Blueprint
- Open your Blueprints list.
- Click the Import button at the top of the menu:
3. Select the .wzw file from your device, and it will immediately be added to your saved Blueprints list!
Note: Depending on your browser or operating system, you may need to change the file filter from "Custom Files" to "All Files (.)" in your file picker menu to see your downloaded .wzw blueprint file.
Please note that this import and export feature is only available for web users and is not supported on the mobile app.
Reminder:The Blueprints system is currently in Beta, which means you might run into an occasional bug or glitch. To enable or test Blueprints, make sure to turn the feature ON in the Beta section of your game Settings!
Keyboard Support for Wired Game Controllers
Building or playing interactive games in Unitz? Various Wired Game Controllers now support direct keyboard inputs!
Instead of having to click the HUD buttons on your screen, you can now use your keyboard's ARROW keys (and other designated keys) to instantly trigger controller buttons and actions during gameplay.
Other Improvements & Bug Fixes
