More Improvements for UnitZ Designers
In this update, we are introducing even more tools for UnitZ designers to help you create and edit all your amazing UnitZ.
Advanced Furniture Management
First, we are adding a new mode where you can easily find, select, hide, and edit furniture. This makes it much easier to edit your complex UnitZ without having to remove or move other items that might be blocking your view.
You will find a new "Search items" option in Edit Mode:
This opens a list of ALL items currently in your UnitZ, giving you easy access to everything:
From this list, you can do several very useful things:
Use the search and controls at the top to filter which items to show in this list:
- Search items by name
- List or unlist actors (Avatars and BestiZ)
- List only non-wired or wired furniture
- List only non-interactable or interactable furniture
- List only hidden or visible furniture (more on this in a moment)
From this list, you can HIDE individual items from the UnitZ by clicking the eye toggle (or hide the entire list from the UnitZ by clicking the eye toggle at the bottom).
Note: These items are hidden only for you while you are in Edit Mode, helping you reach inaccessible parts of your UnitZ. They remain visible to everyone else in the UnitZ.
Tip: You can also hide individual items or groups of furniture by using the button directly on their tooltip:
From the same list, you can easily select multiple pieces of furniture simply by clicking their names on the list. You can also select or unselect the entire list using the hand buttons at the bottom. (Note: You can individually unselect an item by clicking on it again in the list.)
Once your multi-selection is ready, you can easily edit all the items at once (for example, move or recolor them).
Advanced tip for power users:
For complex UnitZ with a lot of items, make sure to use the advanced search filters. Here, you can filter items by type or by their recolorability status, for example:
Access to More Tools for Co-hosts
Your co-hosts now also have the ability to use the Search Items tool, as well as the Select Tool:
Clone Color from Existing Furniture When Adding a New One
We are bringing back a legacy "secret" feature that many people did not know about:
When adding a new copy of furniture that is already in your UnitZ, you can force it to use the exact same color code! Simply click to "place" it on top of the existing one to automatically copy its colors, and then move it to where you actually want it:
This also works on the mobile app. You just need to manually "tap" on your furniture while it is hovering over the original piece to clone its colors:
Improvements to Photo AlbumZ
We made a few improvements to Photo AlbumZ to make it easier for you to manage your pictures:
- New pictures saved in an album will now always appear at the beginning.
- Added a new option to re-sort your pictures by date (most recent or oldest first).
- Added a new option to sort your list of albums itself, just like you can do for individual pictures.
Other Improvements & Bug Fixes
- Various smaller fixes and improvements to the Assets Creators window.
- Newer User Titles should now appear in your Achievements list on your WoozIn.
- Quest Journal: Fixed an issue on mobile where the "Pin Quest" button was hidden and could not be clicked on some devices.
- Other minor bug fixes.
