An OG Player in the New Era of Woozworld

by Kylie870

I started my Woozworld journey back in 2012 and like to consider myself one of the "original players" of the game. I have seen Animators come and go, the rise and downfall of Woozen Quests (iykyk), and have spent an insane amount of time collecting for numerous competitions. I was around when EVERYONE had neon color codes (mine was 6600ff but thanks to the Recolor Tokens, I was able to retire that color code entirely <3). Could I even consider myself an "OG" if I didn't mention the Woozworld commercial that was played ON CABLE (do the new eras even know what cable is?) or the Woozworld physical gift cards that you could only buy in store? I have been around for a long time and Woozworld has changed a lot from when I started 14 years ago. That has not deterred me from coming online at least once a week to change my outfit and to check and see which of my friends are still active.

I remember Woozworld back in 2015/2016. I was convinced that was my "prime" back then (so embarrassing to admit). Everyone had Woozworld-related social media pages (if you remember my Woozworld edits... don't) and the community was truly at its peak. We used to have to stand in the 'Star of the Week' unitz where the queue would be 100+ people long just to enter the contest (you guys have it easy now; just a simple entry). I remember one time specifically where there were less than 10 people left in the queue and my internet crashed. Worst. Timing. EVER!!! I then went on to lose every Star of the Week competition I entered in after that up until 2020!

The COVID era of Woozworld was my favorite. I had 6 months off of work and lots of time on my hands to spend online! I made the most friends this year and won more contests than I had in the previous 8 years I had spent playing. From creating my own tattoo in-game (Floral Tattoo by Kylie870; look it up) to winning my first (and only) Star of the Week; I was online all day, everyday and loving it! I think a lot of people rediscovered their love for the game this year. A lot of the other original players made a comeback during this time and it made Woozworld THAT much more fun!

Although I am not as active as I once was, I do still try and come on a couple of times a month. I love catching up with my long-time friends, looking through the Marketplace, and browsing through the new outfits that the talented Woozens of today's era have created! I love seeing that Woozworld is still up and running and constantly changing to keep both new and old players interested in playing. Are there features on Woozworld that I've never heard of or seen before? Absolutely. Do I know what a "Vector Encoder" is or how to use it? Not one singular clue. But do I still come online and spend a couple of hours a week online? HECK YEAH!!!

So as an OG in this new era of Woozworld, I'd like to tell our newer players to spend that extra time completing tasks to earn that title! Stay up and create an outfit you're proud of for your Star of the Week entry! Go make memories and create some life-long friendships along the way!

fav flowers

by humbles

people would often ask me what type of flowers are my favorites

and i often say, "oh, you know, roses. the white ones."

but real ones know it's the pixelated flower that has been sitting on woozworld plaza for months. if one were to be honest, i would say that. but i can't, because they don't play woozworld - maybe i should make them play woozworld.

Lib Street Friends and Fun Collaborations!

by LaCatracha

I've always loved playing Woozworld as a kid. Now that I recently went back on, it really showed me how much fun it still is. Now it's just the nostalgia and amazing people I can connect to. Especially walking into others with different styles than me. I love to see others' creativity, and I host Next Top Models monthly, and do giveaways to those that deserve it since they are Gifted and talented.

It's always nice to be spoiled by myself, but it's different when you do it out for love. (Input SZA)

lol, if anyone sees me in any worlds feel free to communicate with me! Maybe one day you can help Judge my Models. Or even be in one of my Group Photoshoots!
