Update on Prom and Community Activities

To all our players,

Following the discussions within the communities over the weekend, we would like to address the recent situation regarding Prom and clarify concerns raised by players.

Last Friday, a blog post about Prom was posted across all communities. Unfortunately, the communication did not reflect our original plan properly, and we recognize that this created confusion and frustration. We sincerely apologize for this.

1 - Prom 2026

This year's idea was to have four different Prom experiences, one for each community, based on what players from each community wanted. Our goal was also to allow players active in multiple communities to experience different activities and events depending on the server they participate in.

What happened in the EN community:

As many members of the Woozworld team, including Chai and Mya, are on vacation during June, we faced challenges organizing the EN Prom event internally. Earlier this year, we discussed with Jenny (who is no longer officially employed by Woozworld or a Woozband member) the possibility of temporarily assisting with the EN events. This led to Mya mentioning during her Late Night show that Jenny would appear later in the year.

The announcement made on Friday was only intended to introduce this short-term involvement. It was not meant to represent an official return to the Woozband, a new storyline, or a major game announcement. We clearly underestimated the impact this announcement would have across the other communities and understand now that the messaging lacked clarity. That was our mistake. We also understand your excitement about Jenny.

In addition, separate blogs were originally planned for each community, but the EN version was translated and distributed everywhere, unintentionally suggesting that Jenny would be involved in all Prom events.

To address this:

The blogs will be updated to better explain the Prom concept for each community. During June, Jenny will also try to visit and interact with players from the other communities while helping with EN activities.

2 - Big events in a single community

This year, we did some tests with certain events, including the Zephyrs and Woozlympics. We have listened carefully to your feedback regarding these events. Future large-scale events will be approached in a way that better includes all communities.

3 - Community-specific activities

Each Woozworld community has its own identity, uniqueness, and event style. Because of this, some activities, rewards, titles, or animations may remain specific to certain communities from time to time.

At the same time, not all Woozstaff members (WoozBand, developers, artists, animators, moderators, Chuck, etc.) speak every language supported by the game. This naturally limits how often certain staff members can directly interact within every community.

We understand that this may sometimes create feelings of exclusion, and we sincerely apologize if that has been the case. It has never been our intention.

Contrary to popular belief, Woozworld is a small team of approximately 20 people who work hard every day to make the game as enjoyable as possible for all players. Like any team, we will sometimes make mistakes, but we remain committed to listening, improving, and communicating more openly with our players.

Since last year, we have been making efforts to increase transparency in our communications, and we will continue working in that direction moving forward. We encourage respectful feedback and discussion within the community, but actions intended to disrupt the game experience, spread hostility, or target the company and its players will not be tolerated.
