The Woozstar Film Festival, Part 1: The Script

My Woozens!

As mentioned in the Weekly News this morning, I am doing a spin-off of Odea's Woozstars & Camera Festival just for us this week! Inspired by the glamour of the Festival de Cannes, this event is a series of contests where I am asking you to step into the shoes of a Movie Director.

You heard it right! Every day this week, you will get a new task to work on your "movie" (don't worry, there's no video editing involved. We're just pretending this time!).

Today's Task: The Script

Every legendary film starts with a great story. For our first challenge, I want to read the Pitch for your movie.

What to do: Write a movie teaser or plot summary.

The Details:

- Max 250 words.

- You must include a Movie Title and specify the Genre.

Think Carefully: All the next steps this week will have to be based on the movie you are writing today. Make sure it's a story you're excited to bring to life!

You have 3 days (until Thursday, May 28th, at noon).

The Rewards

- The Top 3 pitches will win 2,500 Wooz and 200,000 Beex each!

- Players who finish a full movie (participating in all 5 challenges) get a chance to be The Ultimate A-List Winner and receive a very special grand prize... but more on that later.

All results will be announced next week. For now, the spotlight is on your imagination!
