The use of Woozworld means your acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

We are committed to protecting your online privacy when visiting Woozworld(hereinafter "Woozworld").

We do not collect or keep any personal information online from you unless you volunteer it. We also do not collect and keep personal information online from children without consent of a parent or legal guardian, except in limited circumstances authorized by law and described in this policy.

Please review the information below to familiarize yourself with our policies on website privacy, so that you can take full advantage of all the fun activities available at our sites for you and your family. Please remember that this site and the servers that make this site available are located in Canada. By using this site you agree to the transfer, collection, processing and use of personal data by this site.

A SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS AND LEGAL GUARDIANS:

Woozworld respects the U.S Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA) Act of 1998 and the guidelines of the Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU) of the Council of Better Business Bureau, Inc. in each of its websites for children. You can help by spending time online with your children and monitoring your children's online use. Please help us protect your child's privacy by instructing them never to provide personal information on this website or any other without your permission.

If you are under 18, please be sure to read this policy with your parents or legal guardians and ask questions about things you do not understand. Children under 13 (U13) should get their parent's or legal guardian's permission before giving out your e-mail address or any personal information to Woozworld.

General Privacy Policy

1. Does Woozworld Collect Any Personal Information about Me If I'm Minor?

Woozworld requires your age, gender, and an email address for login and password reset purposes in order to enjoy the game part of our websites and the store. If you are a children under thirteen year old (U13) we will request for your parent or legal guardian email address in order to inform them of your interest in playing Woozworld, and thus, have their consent for you to play the game. Age and gender are also used for statistics.

However, some sections of our sites contain advanced features for members who validate their email address. U13 players need their parents or legal guardian to explicitly read and accept this privacy policy in order to gain access to those features explained below at article #9.

We do not collect any further personal information from you or your children unless it is voluntarily provided, for instance when registering for contests, completing our online customer surveys or purchasing products. The personal information we ask for when purchasing a product is usually the avatar’s pseudo, first name and last name of a credit card owner, mailing address, and an e-mail address. See below for how we use this information.

2. What Ordering Information Does Woozworld Collect In Our Online Stores?

We may offer opportunities to purchase products in our online stores. Customers must be over the age of 18 with a valid credit card or with a Paypal account. For SMS payment, please read Advanced Features at article #9 of this policy. When a customer places an order we collect information associated with the transaction, which will include the customer's name, mailing and emailing address, products ordered, credit card information or cell phone number. We ask for this information so that we may fulfill the order. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect credit card data and cell phone number during transmission to our website, and adopt strict internal procedures to safeguard this information in our system. Our 3rd party payment solution providers are also under contract to safeguard your information and not to share it under any circumstances.

When a customer places an order online, we will send a confirming e-mail message and/or a SMS depending on the payment method. We may also send an occasional e-mail featuring a special promotion or product that may be of interest to customers. Any customer who prefers not to receive an online order confirmation or promotional e-mail should go in the account settings and set the mail notification to their preferences. If you do receive an e-mail from us that you would rather not receive, simply follow the «unsubscribe» instructions included in the e-mail.

Woozworld is only collecting the following information to make purchases:

• Full name of card holder
• Email
• Mailing address
• Credit card information

• Cell phone number
• Email address

3. Does Woozworld Collect Any Personal Information About Children?

Woozworld is only collecting the following information to allow access to the game:

• Your child's age: in order to define if we need parental consent for advanced features and statistics.
• Your child’s gender: strictly for statistics of our user base demographic
• Your email: we will ask your child for your e-mail so that we can notify you of your child's registration and get your permission for advanced features of our site see article #9 of this policy. Having the parents email on record is also useful for you to can contact us, manage the account settings, Woozin notification preferences and advance features settings, password reset or if you want to completely remove your child’s account from our site.
• Your child email: if you accept, so he can receive notification such as newsletter, contests, posts from his/her WoozIn (see Advanced Features in article #9 of this policy)
• Your child's user name. Your child is encouraged to use a «screen name» (not their real name) that only they know.
• A password: we will ask your child to make up a special password so that only they can see their personal area on the site. This password must not be communicated to any other child to prevent account theft and fraud.

We do not collect other personal information online from children without consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not use your email for promotional communications and information, unless you agree by subscribing to our newsletter. If you no longer wish your child to participate in an e-mail newsletter, simply click on the link that is provided for removal at the end of each email received, or sign-in the account, go in account settings and adjust the notification settings to your preferences or contact us at privacypolicy@woozworld.com.

Occasionally, Woozworld has special site activities or promotions like sweepstakes or contests that are open to children. In these activities, we are not allowed to ask for more information from your child than what is necessary for your child to participate in the activity. If we need more than the aforementioned info for your child to participate in a particular online activity, we will send you an email with the information we collected and ask your permission to use it. When we ask for your permission, we will tell you what we will do with the information you or your child provides us, and we will tell you how you can review your child's information and ask us to delete the information.

Upon proper identification, parents or legal guardians may review the personal information we have collected about their child, request deletion, change information that is inaccurate or out of date, or refuse to allow further collection or use of the information. Parent shoud contact us.

However, if you ask us to delete you or your child's information, we may have to ask your child (and/or you) not to participate in our activities anymore.

4. What Does Woozworld Do With The Information We Collect?

We use the personal information we collect for the purposes indicated at the time you or your teenager or child (with your consent) provides such information. For instance, if you register in a contest, we will use the registration information to notify contest winners, or if you purchase a product, we will use the information to fulfill the order. Occasionally, and only with consent at the time we ask for information, we might also e-mail or mail you or your teenager or your child to provide information on upcoming Woozworld products, website updates, promotions and send WoozIn notification (see in Advanced Feature in article #9 of this policy).

We may also, in our sole discretion, record or store communications submitted through messages or bulletin boards, forums and chat rooms, and may monitor, filter and review such communications for the purpose of monitoring content and enforcing website rules and to investigate and detect unauthorized use of the website.

And only with your consent, we may also share your email address with other Woozworld brands and Woozworld affiliated companies so that they can let you and your family knows about products that might be of interest. If you want to stop receiving such updates and product information at any time, you can click the unsubscribe link at the end of every email, sign-in the account and adjust the notification preferences in Account settings or just contact us at privacypolicy@woozworld.com.

Also, please not that it is not possible to unsubscribe from transaction notification confirmation when buying from the store for legal reasons.

5. Does Woozworld Share Information about Me With third parties?

Except as described in this policy, we never share or sale personal information that we receive online from children with other companies outside Woozworld.

Woozworld may share your personal information with third parties we employ to perform services on our behalf, such as web hosting services, to help us process and fulfill orders or requests, to handle credit card or SMS transactions, to help us market our products and services, or provide other similar services to Woozworld. If we do share your personal information with third parties, all such third parties’ will be under an obligation to maintain the security and confidentiality of the personal information, and to process the personal information only in accordance with our instructions. We may disclose personal information to protect ourselves against liability, to respond to subpoenas, judicial processes, legitimate requests by law enforcement officials, or as otherwise required in order to comply with applicable law.

However, Woozworld may contain links to third party sites (“Linked Sites”) and any activities you engage in connection with a Linked Site are subject to the privacy policy, conditions of use and other terms imposed by the operator of the Linked Site and Woozworld disclaims all liability in connection herewith. 6. How Does Woozworld Use Cookies?

A «cookie» is a small file that we save on your computer's hard drive that contains non-personal information. Our cookies help to give you faster access to pages you have already visited; they allow you to personalize your pages and us to customize our offerings; and they help you to participate in some activities or events on the site. For instance, some of our sites have an historic functionality, and we need to use cookies to keep track of your progress and favorite games or videos. If you leave the site and then return, cookies will tell us what things you have already collected so that you do not have to start all over again.

We also use cookies to help us figure out how many people visit our sites, which of our Web pages they stop at and how long they stay there. This information helps us figure out which of our Web features are successes and which might need improvement. For administrative purposes, we collect IP addresses, which is the automatic number assigned to your computer when you surf the Web.

Certain Internet Service Providers may assign the same IP address to many users. The IP address allows us to count the total number of «hits» on our sites. However, your IP address and cookie are not connected to any personally identifiable or online contact information like a name and address, so you and your family remain anonymous. However, we may use it to help us investigate in the case of bad behavior like account theft, hacking, bullying and provide the information to authorities in the case of a police investigation for serious crime like cyber-predation. We also use other technology, called clear GIFs, to provide us with other important anonymous information, such as when an e-mail has been opened.

7. Does Woozworld Ever Collect Information Without Consent?

Woozworld does not collect information passively through cookies or other tracking mechanisms except in the circumstances described above. Cookies DON'T contain any personal information about a specific user. We don't use cookies or other non-consensual methods to take personally identifiable or online contact information about you or your family off of your computer. Except for certain activities like contests or content accessibility, which we talked about above, Woozworld doesn't use cookies for direct marketing or promotional purposes. Cookies are also not used to collect information specifically about you or your family for sharing with third parties.

However, due to internet’s nature and structure, third party advertising companies, such as Google Adsense and others, might use cookies already stored on your computer from previous browsing session to deliver advertisement related to your browsing history. Nevertheless, Woozworld do have a list of words and topics that blocks advertiser to show any related ads on our site. We try our best to keep our list up to date but as you can imagine there are lots of new products and marketing campaign, some are geo-filtered so we can’t even see them which makes it impossible to catch them all. If you ever come across an inappropriate ad, please send the ad link here or here and we’ll have it removed in a timely manner.

8. Privo's Privacy Assurance Program

Woozworld INC is a participant in Privo's Privacy Assurance Program. As part of participating in the Privacy Assurance Program, Woozworld INC adheres to the strict information collection, use and disclosure requirements of COPPA. Privo is an independent, third party organization committed to safeguarding children's personal information collected online, and to helping parents and their children exercise control over personal information while exploring the Internet. The seal posted on this page indicates that Woozworld INC has established privacy practices and has agreed to submit to Privo's oversight and consumer dispute resolution process. 9. Advanced Features

WoozIn

The WoozIn is Woozworld’s social network where the Woozens (users) can exchange their thoughts on their Wallz, in game picture, show their achievements, friends and more! The WoozIn postz, as well as all in-game chat and private messages are filtered through Crisp Thinking TM smart filtering system which prevents the user from exchanging Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as phone number or email address.

An important part of the WoozIn is the notification system that keeps you informed of what’s going on in Woozworld and amongst your friend. You can configure the WoozIn in such ways you can receive an email every time someone sends you an in game message, postz something on your wall.

The WoozIn is also the place where you will be able to share your passion for music by posting links to YouTube TM and iTunes TM.

For all these reasons, we need you to validate your email address and have verifiable parental or legal guardian consent for U13 users. Upon visiting the WoozIn for the first time, a mail will be sent to the parents email for them to review and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

Parents or legal guardian can always change their mind by login in the account, go in account settings, check or uncheck any WoozIn authorization check box and upon saving it will send an email to the parent’s email to approve the modification.

SMS Payment

In order to use SMS payment, one must provide their mobile phone number. Such information is considered Personally Identifiable Information (PII) under COPPA and thus requires verifiable parental consent for U13 users. Upon visiting the SMS tab in the store for the first time, a mail will be sent to the parents email for them to review the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions and click on a link to accept them.

Parents or legal guardian can always change their mind by login in the account, go in account settings, check or uncheck the SMS authorization check box which will send an email to the parent’s email to approve the modification.

Comufy

We currently use Comufy as a partner to help you invite people to Woozworld from you address book. In this process, Woozworld does not record any information you provide in the process so there are no privacy issue. However, we may in the future use Comufy to send you Instant Messages (IM) to your favorite IM tool. When the time is right and we start using this feature, we will request your approval before collecting your information. In the case of children under 13, an email will be sent to your parent or legal guardian for them to accept the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions in order for you to be able to use the feature.

Arcadet

The Woozband is always working on new ideas to make Woozworld more fun. Soon, we will offer mini-games to be played inside our world. Some of those games might be developed by us and others by third parties.

Once again, email notification will be send to promote challenges, contests, leaderboard updates, new games and weekly digest. Cookie will be used to track game progress so you won’t have to start all over again.

We want you and your family to have fun surfing all our websites and urge you and your family to follow common sense whenever disclosing personal information - on this site or anywhere on the Internet.
