Together Against Racism

Recently, we have spent a lot of time listening to and learning from the Black voices in our lives, as well as reflecting on ourselves. We are learning how to be better allies and empower Black voices in the right ways.

That being said, we know there is work to be done and we are more than willing to do it. The most important thing to us is to create a fun and, above all else, safe environment for all of our Woozens. We care about you and want to do our best for you.

As always, racism and prejudice of any kind are NOT welcome in this community. We are working on plans of action to help create safer spaces for all Woozens. These plans will not appear tomorrow, but please know they are being worked on.

Of course, action has to be taken in the real world, too. As we are still learning how we can become better allies ourselves, we're not comfortable at this time giving our own advice on the matter. We are, however, very happy to share helpful and useful resources. One such resource is The Guide to Allyship. This site defines allyship and breaks down the Do's and Don't's in easy-to-read lists. If you're interested in becoming a better ally yourself, this is a great place to start.
